Learning Profiler© identifies cognitive strengths and weaknesses for individual students allowing for the most appropriate instructional strategies to be used. As a screening instrument, Learning Profiler is computer administered and computer scored.
Differing from other diagnostic instruments, Learning Profiler© is unique with the ability to provide immediate performance feedback.
Learning Profiler© can be administered to students ranging from age 8 through 19 and grades 3 through 12.
The Learning Profiler© software provides school personnel and psychological clinicians a time-efficient and cost-effective instrument that evaluates a student's cognitive, perceptual and memory skills. This screening instrument takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and can be individually or group administered. No formal training is required!
Many school personnel want a better and more in-depth understanding of the learning strengths and weaknesses of general education as well as special education students who are consistently struggling with learning the required academic content. Information regarding a student's learning strengths and weaknesses, especially in terms of his/her cognitive perceptual and memory skills, is typically obtained through a comprehensive psychoeducational or neuropsychological evaluation. However, schools often have limited professional resources to provide this kind of assessment process for relatively large numbers of students. The Learning Profiler© can help school systems overcome this barrier by making available to them a group-administered, computer-based screening instrument that both addresses this goal and is also cost effective and time efficient.
